Senior Pastor
As a Bangor, Maine native, I began experimenting with drugs and alcohol during my teenage years, even after accepting Christ as a young boy. By 18 years old, I was fully addicted to opiates. After nearly a decade-long battle of searching for freedom, I hit my knees in a jail cell in 2014 and surrendered my life, once again, to Jesus Christ. I enrolled in the Calvary Residential Discipleship program located at Calvary Chapel Bangor and upon completion enrolled in the School of Ministry curriculum. I met Maddi, a graduate of the ladies CRD program, and we married in 2017 before moving to Hawaii where we served on staff at The Ranch Church. I received ordination in 2018 and then moved back to Maine to serve as an assistant pastor under Pastor Ken Graves in Bangor. It was during the spring of 2020 that I sensed the LORD's leading to plant Calvary Chapel Greater Portland, even in the midst of a worldwide pandemic. By the grace of GOD and by the expositional, verse by verse teaching of His Holy Word, we have seen an incredible response and an ever-growing church here in Southern Maine. Our desire is to see Jesus Christ glorified in every aspect of our ministry and to keep the Holy Scripture at the center of our gatherings.
